Financial Controller – Part or Fully Qualified

Our client is the UK's leading manufacturer of intelligent cash handling equipment. With customers in the retail, banking and leisure industries, their products enhance security, reduce shrinkage and deliver process efficiencies. An opportunity has now arisen for a Financial Controller to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a qualified/part qualified accountant looking to progress their career within a dynamic, successful and growing team.
As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the company's management and year-end accounts, VAT and similar statutory returns, costing information, ledger management and defining and producing business information.
As the Company enters an exciting period of growth it is essential that its processes and systems are robust and efficient. As such, you will add value to the company by reviewing and implementing process improvements.
To be considered for the role of Financial Controller, you must be a part or fully qualified accountant. You must also have experience in process improvement.
Additionally, you must be a self starter who can operate at all levels, with the ability to work in small teams as well as across departments.
Although not essential, experience in a manufacturing industry would be a distinct advantage to your application. Training in manufacturing efficiency tools, such as Lean, Six Sigma and 5S would also be beneficial.
Candidates who are part qualified will be given training and support from the company to obtain the full qualification.
Applicants must live within commuting distance of Coventry or be willing to relocate.
